Editorial Policy

Last updated 2026-02-04

This page explains how content on YouConcierge is created and maintained, so you know what to expect from every guide on this site.

Authorship

All guides are credited to the YouConcierge Editorial Team. We use an institutional byline rather than inventing individual author personas, because the editorial process — structure, tone, and review against this policy — matters more here than any single writer's biography.

How Guides Are Structured

Every guide follows the same honest shape: a specific introduction, a set of practical steps, common mistakes to avoid, adaptations for different situations (time, space, energy, household size), a short actionable takeaway, and a FAQ section addressing real follow-up questions. We do this so you can predict what a guide will cover before reading it in full, and so guides stay comparable to one another.

What We Do Not Claim

Research and Sourcing

Most guides on this site describe practical methods rather than citing external research, because the subject matter — how to structure a week, a drawer, or a chore chart — is a matter of practical method, not a claim that needs a citation. When a guide does reference a verifiable external fact, we link to the source directly in a "Sources and Further Reading" section rather than describing unnamed studies.

Updates and Review

Guides are reviewed periodically and updated when a method, a tool reference, or a detail becomes outdated. Each guide displays both its original publish date and its most recent update date. If you believe something on this site is inaccurate, see our Corrections page.

Independence

YouConcierge does not currently accept sponsored posts, paid placements, or guest contributions. If that changes, this policy will be updated to disclose it clearly.
